We would like to extend a special thanks to everyone who contributed to our first Colorado Gives Day campaign this past December 6th.
We were thrilled to raise $5,000 from 41 donors, including many first time contributions. Beyond December 6th, ColoradoGives.org provides a convenient, year round place to make contributions, including the option to setup recurring monthly or weekly donations at your convenience.
With the new year beginning, our historic shelters campaign, led by board member Elizabeth Schlosser, has also received several major individual gifts and commitments between $1,000 and $20,000.
For more information on the mountain parks historic shelters and buildings, please join us on February 12th at the Conifer Historical Society. Our board member, and noted local author, Mike McPhee will present “The Architecture of J.J. Benedict.”
Benedict was McPhee’s grandfather, and is the subject of his forthcoming book. Please click the above link (or image) for more information or to RSVP for this event (these presentations tend to fill up!).
Thanks again for your support, and we look forward to connecting with you in 2017.
