By proclamation of City Council July 29th, August 2013 has been named Denver Mountain Parks month in celebration of the system’s centennial. The proclamation was introduced by Councilwoman Peggy Lehman.
Thanks go to Councilwoman Lehman and the entire City Council for this recognition of an important component of the Denver park system.
The Denver Mountain Parks Foundation celebrated by launching a book and video in honor of the centennial.
