Group Volunteer Day

The Denver Mountain Parks thrive because of the support of volunteers. Group events are a great way for neighborhood organizations and community groups to get into the fresh mountain air and help care for these wonderful parks. Mountain park cleanups can include activities like picking up trash and debris, basic landscape maintenance such as weeding, refreshing park amenities, and more, depending on park needs. Any park within the Denver Mountain Park System is available for park cleanups (subject to schedule). To find a park, explore our parks map.

When you schedule a park cleanup, you can expect:

• Assistance in selecting a park
• On-site assistance from a Denver Mountain Parks Foundation volunteer
• Necessary tools and equipment
• Snacks & water
• Fun!

For community park cleanups, we ask for:

• Submit your request at least three weeks prior to your preferred cleanup date.
• A minimum of 5 volunteers registered for your event. The ideal number of volunteers
  ranges from 10-30 people.
• Donations to support the Denver Mountain Parks Foundation’s work are not required
  but are greatly appreciated!
