smbooks0251Denver Mountain Parks: 100 Years of the Magnificent Dream is here! The book was officially launched August 1, 2013, with a private reception at the Denver Public Library’s Western History and Genealogy Dept. More than 100 people got the opportunity to see the book for the first time, and purchases suggest this is going to be a real hit!

Signing 300 books takes time: from left, Sally White, Bart Berger, Wendy Rex-Atzet, Erika Walker.

Before the reception, authors gathered at John Fielder’s studio to sign piles and piles of the new books for sponsors, those who pre-ordered and other supporters.

Lots of smiles accompanied the launch, and many books found new homes. Toward the end of the evening (below), smiles were surely smiles of relief! Ask for the book at your local bookstore or, better yet, buy it here to directly support our efforts to preserve and enhance the Denver Mountain Park system. Thanks!
